Scope
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Trade Nation Markets mobile application for Android. The general FinancialFX.exchange website privacy policy is available separately at privacy-policy.html.
Data the app may collect
The Trade Nation Markets app may collect information that you choose to enter into a quote, market or trade ticket screen, including name, phone number, email address, currency pair, exchange direction, amount, trade note and support message.
The app may process technical information needed to operate and protect the service, including device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, time of access, screen activity, rate refresh events, error logs and security events.
Data the app does not request
The app does not request access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, SMS, calendar or call logs. The app does not collect advertising ID for advertising tracking. The app does not ask users to enter card numbers inside the app.
How data is used
Data is used to calculate FX estimates, display live or stored forex rates, prepare trade tickets, contact users about submitted requests, provide customer support, maintain service security, prevent misuse, keep operational records and comply with legal, regulatory, accounting and compliance obligations.
Live rates and third-party providers
The app may request live FX rate data from a third-party exchange-rate provider. That provider may receive technical request data such as IP address, requested currency pair, request time and browser or device metadata. Final pricing, settlement and execution are confirmed separately before processing.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared only where needed with technology providers, rate providers, customer support providers, professional advisers, banks, payment or settlement partners, regulators, law enforcement or other parties where required by law or necessary to provide the requested service.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information through free-text fields. No mobile app or internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Retention and deletion
